The Samudra Charitable Trust, established by M. Ruval Singh in 2017, originated with a philanthropic mission to assist individuals grappling with illness and family challenges. As its efforts gained traction, the trust’s initiatives expanded, eventually leading to the creation of Samudratheeram, a non-denominational elderly care facility in Kalluvathukkal, Chathannur, Kollam district. This trust symbolizes a dedicated commitment to extending compassion and support to those in need.

Free Eye Treatment Camp

The Samudra Charitable Trust, in partnership with Aravind Hospital Thirunalvely, organizes a monthly free medical treatment camp. This initiative extends comprehensive support, including free consultations, surgeries, transportation, accommodation, and meals. The collaboration between the trust and the hospital exemplifies their commitment to providing accessible healthcare to those in need, making a positive impact on the lives of individuals requiring medical attention.

Cancer Treatment Campaign

Samudratheeram Charitable Trust implements the “Pay Ten Rupees, Save Life” scheme to aid cancer patients. This initiative involves opening dedicated bank accounts for patients and publishing information about three patients monthly, encouraging donors to contribute ten rupees each. Beyond fundraising, the trust offers a holistic cancer treatment plan, collaborating with medical institutions and providing emotional support and community engagement, ensuring comprehensive care for patients in need.

Free Ambulance Service

Free Clothes Distribution

Samudra Charitable Trust has introduced an inventive solution by installing a clothes cupboard in the casualty section of Paripally Medical College Hospital, offering accident victims new clothes free of charge.Managed by trust workers, the cupboard ensures victims receive fresh garments and has gained recognition as an innovative approach that could be emulated in other locations. This initiative showcases the trust’s commitment to providing thoughtful and impactful support to those in distress.
